About Our Lures
Thank you for visiting my web site! I sincerely hope that within these pages is a lure that will meet your angling needs. Literally hundreds of hours of experimentation and design have gone into the final products that I am offering here for sale. I make my living as a fisheries biologist and build these baits in my spare time because I enjoy it. There is no "hurry" in these lures and I believe the quality in each of them shows that. I will not sell you a lure unless I am entirely confident that it looks great, functions perfectly, and will provide many hours of service and enjoyment. I stand behind my lures, if you are not happy with the bait return it to me and I will refund your money.
Each of these hand-crafted lures goes through more than 15 stages of construction and after allowing for cure times requires about one week to complete. Hardware includes .092 screw eyes, Mustad 3/0 extra-strong round-bend trebles and #6 Wolverine triple split rings rated at nearly 300 pounds. All lures have at least three coats of rock hard clear coat. These baits are "one of a kind" and all have their own life.
Although I build these lures primarily for musky and pike fisherman all of them would effectively take bass and many other large predatory species as well. If you have any questions please feel free to send me an email.
